Window Nation, a Maryland-based window replacement retailer, announced Monday it would open its first Connecticut location on North Farm Rd. in Wallingford.
The chain credited the Hartford area’s booming housing market for the new store, in addition to the pandemic-sparked surge in home improvement projects nationwide. The Wallingford outlet will service Hartford, New Haven and southwestern Massachusetts.
To ensure customer safety during the pandemic, the Wallingford Window Nation will offer virtual visits and estimates, contactless installations and a virtual “home show” to showcase design options. Appointments are encouraged.
Window Nation, the fifth largest window replacement firm in the U.S., was established in 2006 and now operates in 15 markets across the country, according to a company statement.
