Retail property, office building in Westport sell for $3.09M

A retail property and an office building on a busy road in Westport have sold for $3.09 million, according to property records.

Avoric Denver Real Estate LLC, controlled by Avoric Holdings LLC, of Redding, bought the 3,200-square-foot, one-story retail building, at 971 Post Road E., for $1.79 million. It purchased the 2,836-square-foot, two-story office building, at 979 Post Road E., for $1.3 million.
An email to Avoric Denver Real Estate LLC was not immediately returned.

The seller of both properties is Dandar Realty LLC, controlled by Joseph and Susan Maya, of Westport.

The retail building, which sits on a 0.43-acre parcel, was built in 1955. The office building, which occupies a 0.25-acre parcel, was constructed in 1930. The two properties have a total appraised value of $2.65 million and an assessed value of $1.85 million.

The tenants for the retail building include Cycle Dynamics, a bicycle shop, and Pop Up Bagels, according to their websites. The office building’s occupants include Milton Homes and Howard & Gay Insurance, according to these business’ websites.
