A 19,042-square-foot, one-story commercial building with three retail spaces in Monroe has sold for $1.6 million, according to the town’s land records.
The buyer is Corbalite VI LLC, which is controlled by Brian Oliver, of Stratford; Anthony Christy, of Ansonia; and Molly Sabas, of Scottsville. Oliver and Christy are principals with Automotive Restoration Inc. in Stratford. Sabas is an investor in the business.
Oliver said they bought the building for investment purposes.
The sellers are Sage L. Rega, of Stratford, and Gena R. Newman, of Woodbury. They bought the building in 2013.
The building, which was constructed in 1995 and sits on a 1.09-acre parcel, was appraised at $1.04 million and assessed at $727,800 in 2023.
Tenants include El Solo Deli, Out Front Farm Pet Supply and Monroe Pack Ship, according to their websites.
