A 12,040-square-foot retail strip on Route 3 in Middletown recently sold for $1 million.
Caffery Plaza LLC sold the 43-year-old building on nearly an acre at 558 Newfield St. to Newfield Plaza LLC in a deal recorded by the city on Feb. 21. The seller’s principal is Robert B. Caffery, of Clinton. Â
The buyer’s principal is Dimpal Patel, of Wallingford.
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce lists Patel as the contact for the King of Spirits liquor store, one of several businesses located in the plaza.Â
