Restoration Firm Donates Holiday Labor To Church

Keith Perron, owner of Paul Davis Restoration of West Hartford, has announced the completion of restoration work at Trinity United Methodist Church, 180 Park Ave. in Windsor.

According to Perron, the Rev. Roy Jacobsen contacted the Paul Davis office about emergency restoration services for the church structure, which had suffered water damage.

“The ceiling needed to be cleaned, restored and restained and we also repaired pews that were damaged. Also, rooms in the church were wallpapered along with other improvements to the structure,” said Perron. “We donated much of the labor as part of the Paul Davis Restoring America program, which is our company-wide community service initiative to help those in need.”

According to Perron, Peter Nazarczuk, Paul Davis Restoration’s associate and project manager, was responsible for the work with Pastor Jacobson, who needed the project completed for a busy holiday and religious schedule.

“We finished the job a week early and took the mission seriously, with respect for the pastor’s tight deadline,” Nazarczuk said.

Brown Rudnick’s Hartford office has made charitable donations to four area community organizations. The firm donated $500 to Operation Fuel, a not-for-profit organization that provides emergency energy assistance.

It also worked with Tammy Cassile-Kyparidis, the principal of the newly opened Breakthrough II Magnet School in Hartford’s North End, to provide holiday gifts for families in need at that school. Brown Rudnick also supported Brady’s Smile, a memorial foundation created to promote the health, emotional well-being and social development of children in need. Additionally, the firm donated $175 to TheaterWorks.

David Kronberg of Winchester, Mass., has been named executive director of Good News Garage, a New England-wide program of Lutheran Social Services with a location in Hartford, which was one of the nation’s first car donation charities.
