Restaurant Week, Night Market return to New Haven

Restaurant Week will return to New Haven next week, offering meals and deals from 24 eateries throughout the Elm City.

New Haven Restaurant Week runs Oct. 6-11, featuring $25 lunch specials at 15 of the participating restaurants. All participating locations will offer pre-fixe dinners for $45-$55 per person, with beverages, taxes and gratuity not included.

Since 2009, more than $55,000 has been raised for the Connecticut Foodshare from New Haven’s Restaurant Week. This year, participating restaurants have donated $10,000.

Parking deals are offered in lots and garages on Broadway, Crown and Temple streets.

Also, New Haven’s fall Night Market returns to the city Friday, celebrating entrepreneurs, art, music, food and culture from 5-10 p.m. in the Downtown New Haven Chapel Neighborhood. The event is free, no tickets are required, and is for all ages.
