Southington’s Resolute Partners, which specializes in wired and wireless advanced network products, has announced the acquisition of Summit Technologies, a Vermont-based company that enables and empowers wireless mobility.
Summit will remain a separate business unit and do business as SUMMIT Technologies (a Resolute Partners company). No financial details were announced.
“Our two companies have a tremendous amount of synergy,” said Resolute Partners CEO Michael Blanco. “Summit is a perfect fit with our services and we are now able to enhance their offerings by providing additional technical and business resources to support current and new customers.”
Resolute Partners said it benefits from the acquisition by gaining new customers and expanding its New England presence in a variety of industries, including hospitality and resorts, healthcare, state government, education, retail, commercial and business. Summit has several top regional clients, including Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Maitri Health Care for Women, Capitol Plaza, Claybrook at Sugarbush Resort, CONA Bank North, State of Vermont, Woodstock Inn & Resort, Yankee Candle Company INC, and Mass MoCA as well as a various condominium developers, retail and hospitality operations.
