Drivers trolling the streets of Bridgeport and New Haven should pay a bit more attention to the road.
That’s because the two Connecticut cities are among the more dangerous for drivers in the country, according to a new report from insurer Allstate.
Bridgeport was pegged as the 19th most dangerous city for drivers in the country, while New Haven was named the 21st most dangerous U.S. city to drive in, according to Allstate.
Bridgeport drivers will get into an accident every 7.1 years on average, while New Haven drivers will face an accident  every 7.3 years. The national average is one collision every ten years. Washington, DC has the country’s least safe roads. Drivers in the nation’s capital get into an accident every 4.7 years on average.
