Remodeled Webster facility gets Energy Star approval

Webster Bank said its private banking office in Greenwich, which it remodeled last year, has received Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The voluntary EPA program uses data it collects from buildings around the country to compare how a particular building’s metered energy consumption stacks up against similar buildings with similar uses. The EPA must determine that a building is in the top quartile (more efficient than at least 75 percent of similar buildings) to receive the certification.

Webster Private Bank is a division of Webster that provides lending, investment management and other services for clients with at least $1 million in investable assets.
