Rell wants to set up an electronic suggestion box

Gov. M. Jodi Rell is proposing the state set up an electronic suggestion box.

Under her proposal, all e-mailed questions, concerns and suggestions from citizens to the state would be sent to one electronic clearinghouse, and then forwarded to the proper state government department or agency.

Rell says the idea is to create an easy visible way for residents to communicate with state government.

She says while state agencies have their own Web sites, citizens often have no idea to whom they should send their complaints, comments and suggestions.
