RELAY FOR LIFE KICKS OFF 

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Hartford kicked off its new season of awareness and fundraising with an event for volunteers and business sponsors. West Hartford Relay For Life will take place on June 4-5 at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford.  Last year, over 500 people participated in the event which raised more than $100,000 for research.  Pictured are, from left, Kevin Zoeller, a cancer survivor and campaign co-chair;  Erin Nielsen, director of development, American Cancer Society; West Hartford Mayor Scott Slifka; April Parsons and Dave Sagers, campaign co-chairs; and Erik Bush, wine manager of Fleming’s, which hosted the event.
