Recently renovated Fairfield Inn hotel in CT hits market

A 116-room Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel in Wallingford has hit the market.

The 68,114-square-foot property, at 100 Miles Drive, underwent a $1.4 million renovation last year and has now been listed for sale on the online auction website Ten-X.

The hotel property will be auctioned on April 14, with a starting bid price of $2.05 million.

Fairfield Inn is a hotel brand owned by Marriott. According to the listing, Marriott is proposing a new, 13-year minimum license agreement, which would cover two renovation cycles.

The four-story hotel property, which sits on 3.08 acres and was built in 1985, was last sold in December 2019 for $6.85 million to Wallingford Hotel Partners LLC, which is controlled by Arun and Hemant Patel, who list a Corning, New York business address. Before that, the hotel property traded hands for $2.96 million in 2015, property records show.
