Single-family home sales across Connecticut increased 6.8 percent in April, according to Connecticut Realtors.
There were 2,260 homes sold during the month, up from 2,116 in April 2014, Realtors said.
The median sales price fell nearly 5 percent, from $249,700 to $237,900.
Meanwhile, sales of townhomes and condos fell 8.1 percent over the year, with 565 units sold. The median price was essentially flat at $159,900.
