Tony Poccia of Guilford has joined the commercial services division of Press/Cuozzo Realtors.
Poccia enters the commercial real-estate arena following careers in the mechanical contracting business, telecommunications and health care industries. He is a member of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division (CID), and serves on its board of directors.
He holds an undergraduate degree in education from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in health care administration from Long Island University.

The sale of a major commercial property at 2045 Dixwell Ave., Hamden closed March 14. The 34,880-square-foot building on 3.64 acres was built in 1992 and is home to major retail tenants including CVS (10,900 square feet) and Bed Bath & Beyond (24,046 square feet). The seller was Z Pride LLC of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; the buyer was Har-Zait LLC. The sale price was $5.0 million. The listing broker was Steve Miller of Levey Miller Maretz, and the selling broker was Ken Ginsberg, Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio.

Partner/broker Frank D’Ostilio of Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio announced two new commercial lease transactions at 620 Grand Ave., New Haven. The state’s Department of Correction has signed a 10-year lease of 11,075 square feet for a parole office. The value of the lease agreement is $185,500.25 annually.
Also, Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless of Bedminster, N.J. has leased 680 square feet of the building for five years at $21,600 per year.
Built in 1970 and sited on 0.9 acres, the property is owned by 620 Grand Avenue, LLC.
