Readying for a foreclosure flood

Connecticut’s judges want to be sure they’re ready to handle a surge of foreclosures. Chief Justice Chase Rogers said she’s formed a new committee of judges and lawyers to address the issue. The number of foreclosure filings in state court jumped from less than 12,000 two years ago to nearly 16,000 in the last fiscal year.
