RBS picks Lee for Stamford post

The Royal Bank of Scotland Securities Inc. said Tuesday that it has appointed Jim Lee as head of futures strategy and Eric Hiller to run its U.S. rates derivatives strategy.

Lee comes from Cantor Fitzgerald where he was a managing director and co-head of the liquid markets group from 2008 to 2009. He will be based in Stamford, Conn.

Hiller joined RBS, parent of Citizens Bank Connecticut, in 2008 after nearly a decade as chief derivatives strategist at Bank of America. He has spent the past year holding the job that Lee will now take. Hiller will be based in Chicago. (AP)
