The Shops at Farmington Valley will add another restaurant to its growing roster of dining options with Ramen & Bao, an Asian-inspired eatery set to open in 2026.
The restaurant, which specializes in ramen bowls, steamed bao buns and handmade soup dumplings, will occupy a courtyard location across from Blo Blow Dry Bar at the open-air shopping center on Route 44 in Canton.
Ramen & Bao will offer both full-service dining and carry-out options, featuring a menu that blends Japanese, Taiwanese and other Asian influences. Menu items include house-made broths with various proteins, scallion pancake wraps, Taiwanese fried chicken and spring rolls.
Ramen & Bao has an existing location in Oxford at 112 Main St. and is planning a second location in The Shops at Stone Bridge in Cheshire. The Canton eatery will be the restaurant’s third location.
The announcement continues a busy year of retail and restaurant additions at the shopping center. In 2025, the center welcomed Sweetgreen, Warby Parker, FP Movement and J.Crew Factory.
The center also announced plans for a Shake Shack location.
The Shops at Farmington Valley features more than 45 shops and restaurants and is owned by Massachusetts-based WS Development.
