The owners of Hartford’s 350-room Ramada Plaza hotel announced they’ve reflagged the property to Radisson.
The change comes after the owner, Magilink Group — which had put the hotel on the market in 2012 — took on a new equity partner in October, providing $11.5 million for renovations to the 18-story Morgan Street hotel.
Those renovations are still on tap, according to a spokesman for Radisson parent Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
Magilink bought the hotel out of foreclosure in 2010.
“We are confident that the consistency, value and leadership of this brand and the Carlson Rezidor system will result in a successful future for this hotel,” Robert Schamber, general manager of the hotel, said in a statement.
