Quinnipiac picks new law library director

Hamden resident Jordan Jefferson is the new director of the Lynne L. Pantalena Law Library at Quinnipiac University.

Jefferson is also an associate professor of law. Jefferson manages the law library’s services, facilities and staffing and teaches legal research.

Jefferson comes to Quinnipiac from Yale Law School, where she worked for a decade. Her most recent role there had been as associate director of operations, outreach and engagement in the Lillian Goldman Law Library. 

Jefferson’s legal research interests are wide-ranging, with a particular focus on criminal justice and access to justice, military and veterans’ issues, and LGBTQIA+ and women’s rights.

Amphenol Corp. names new board member

Amphenol Corporation in Wallingford recently appointed Prahlad Singh to its 10-member board of directors.

Singh is currently president and chief executive officer of PerkinElmer, a role he has had since 2019. During his career, Singh has also had executive roles at GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, DuPont Pharmaceuticals and Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging.

Its products are used in a variety of industries, such as commercial aerospace, automotive, industrial, military and mobile networks.
