Quinnipiac only CT biz school on Bloomberg list

Quinnipiac University in Hamden ranks No. 91 on Bloomberg Businessweek’s Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2011 list, the only Connecticut school recognized.

This is the first year Quinnipiac’s School of Business made the list, honoring 113 schools in all.

“A top-100 Businessweek ranking is a significant recognition of the quality of our business programs and the hard work, dedication and commitment of students, faculty and staff,” said Matthew O’Connor, dean of the School of Business, in a statement.

The ranking is based on student and recruiter surveys, median starting salaries for graduates, academic quality based on SAT/ACT scores, the business program’s full-time student/faculty ratio and average class size in core business classes.
