Sam Parrish has been appointed associate dean of student affairs at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. Parrish will be responsible for coordinating student services, including counseling, advising, student programming and academic assistance. Previously, he worked as senior associate dean of student affairs at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Parrish, a pediatrician, received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and holds a chemistry degree from the College of Charleston. Parrish is an active member in the Association of Medical Colleges and the Society of Adolescent Medicine.
