Converge Diagnostic Services, which has a Wallingford office, has been acquired by New Jersey lab testing giant Quest Diagnostics, the companies announced.
Converge has 14 patient service centers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut. The North Main Street center in Wallingford is its only Connecticut location.
Quest, which had revenue of $7.4 billion in 2012, has bought four laboratory businesses this year. The company has multiple offices in Connecticut.
