Quinnipiac University has appointed Christopher Hakala to a newly-created position of director of teaching and learning.
Hakala will oversee all aspects of faculty development related to teaching and learning, including programming and training.
He previously taught psychology at the University of New Hampshire, Gettysburg College, Lycoming College, American International College and Western New England College, where he served as director of the center for teaching and learning from 2009 until recently.
Hakala will also teach psych courses at Quinnipiac.
