QA+M Architecture, Moser Pilon Nelson merge

Two Greater Hartford architecture firms have officially joined operations.

Moser Pilon Nelson Architects, based in Wethersfield, and Farmington-based Quisenberry Arcari Malik LLC announced their merger on March 1. Financial details of the linkup were not disclosed.

The combined firm will continue to be known as Quisenberry Arcari Malik, also known as QA+M Architecture.

“Incorporating Moser Pilon Nelson’s team of highly respected, talented and award-winning professionals into the QA+M family will increase our creative, technical and planning resources,” said QA+M Principal Rusty Malik. “This merger will result in a stronger organization to better support our clients, and the communities we serve.”

Specifically, Moser Pilon Nelson’s expertise in higher education, health care and institutional market sectors is expected to open new opportunities for the business, according to company officials.

QA+M, which has its headquarters on Scott Swamp Road, offers services such as feasibility studies, site selection, planning, programming, educational specifications, architectural design and interior design for clients in the education, municipal, residential, commercial, health care and recreation markets.
