Pratt & Whitney F-119 engines will power the F-22 Raptor used by the United States Air Force’s East Coast Demonstration team at its summer tour of air shows, the East Hartford-based aerospace firm announced. The milestone marks the show-circuit retirement of the F-15 Eagle from the show circuit, which was powered by an earlier generation P&W line of engines.
