A Putnam-based insurance agency, Archambault Insurance Associates, was acquired by World Insurance Associates LLC in New Jersey, one of the 50 largest insurance brokerage firms in the United States.
The acquisition, which closed on Dec. 1, 2024, was announced Monday.
Archambault, founded in 1928, was a third-generation, family-owned agency. It serves individuals, families and businesses in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.Â
Archambault provides personal, commercial, life and health and surety insurance.
