The Women’s Leadership Initiative at Pullman & Comley recently hosted its 15th annual networking tea in Westport, an event which brings together business women and community leaders from throughout Connecticut, and welcomed featured guest, the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA). The CMTA has a personal connection to Pullman & Comley as former employee, Michele Kekac, suffers from CMT, a degenerative disorder which affects the nerves that control the muscles. There is no known cure. The CMTA was founded to raise awareness and fund research. Pictured are, from left, Kekac; Diane Whitney, partner, Pullman & Comley and chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative; and Jeana Sweeney, director of community services, CMTA.
