Prudential Financial Inc. says that its group insurance business will start offering dental coverage plans later this year.
The plans will be offered in partnership with Group Dental Service Inc., based in Rockville, Md.
Lori High, president of Prudential’s group insurance business, said the offering meets “growing interest among employers to bundle dental insurance along with life, disability, and long-term care insurance.”
Prudential said it will start by offering dental plans to companies with plans covering less than 1,000 employees, then eventually expand the offering to larger plans.
