Glastonbury’s Town Plan and Zoning Commission has unanimously approved a developer’s proposal to build a nine-building commercial park on Sequin Drive.
The commission voted Feb. 17 to approve the application filed by Glastonbury Pro Park LLC for a special permit with design review and groundwater protection approval for the project at 107 Sequin Drive.
The plan calls for nine buildings totaling 90,720 square feet on an 8.8-acre undeveloped parcel near the end of the Sequin Drive cul-de-sac in the Planned Commerce Zone.
Each building will contain about 10,080 square feet and is designed for construction services and other permitted commercial users, such as contractors that combine office space with indoor storage and parking for company vehicles.
Project plans show black metal building exteriors with stone veneer along the base, 199 parking spaces, two curb cuts and a monument sign. The property is bordered by commercial uses on three sides and a residential condominium complex to the east.
