Hartford-based Propark Mobility has struck its third Pittsburgh-area transaction of the year, partnering with local valet and parking operator William Penn Parking.
The companies did not call the Sept. 3 arrangement an acquisition, unlike Propark’s two earlier Pittsburgh-area deals this year. They said William Penn will gain access to Propark’s operational resources and parking and mobility services, while keeping its local client relationships. Financial terms were not disclosed.
William Penn has operated in the Pittsburgh region for more than 20 years and provides valet and parking management services at more than 16 locations, including hotels, surface lots and parking garages. It also provides parking services for sporting events, corporate functions, weddings and galas.
The company was founded by Robert “Bobby” Arrigo and Robert “Robbie” Gigliotti, who will continue to lead the business, according to Propark.
The partnership follows two Pittsburgh-area acquisitions by Propark this year. The company acquired Pittsburgh Valet in January and K-7 Parking Co., a family-owned Pittsburgh operator founded in 1948 that manages about 30 locations in the region, in April.
Propark also acquired Gold Coast Valet, a Long Island provider of valet parking and hospitality services, in August. At the time, the company called that transaction its third acquisition of the year.
Propark provides parking and mobility services at more than 1,000 hospitality, healthcare, commercial and transportation locations in more than 250 U.S. cities.
