Priceline co-founder to keynote UConn forum

Timothy “Scott” Case, a University of Connecticut grad and co-founder of Priceline.com in Norwalk, will address inventors, investors and entrepreneurs on ways to commercialize technology at a venture-capital forum Wednesday at UConn’s Storrs campus.

Case in January was appointed chief executive officer of Startup America Partnership, the private sector alliance launched at the White House to celebrate and accelerate entrepreneurship.

He also is vice chair of Malaria No More, the public-private partnership he helped start in 2006 to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.

The forum is from 3 to 7 p.m. at UConn’s Student Union Theater & Ballrooms.
