The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce has named Press/Cuozzo Realtors recipient of the 2019 Chamber Choice Award for Business of the Year. The firm, headquartered at 2751 Dixwell Ave., will be honored at the 24th annual Chamber Choice Awards Dinner Nov. 21 at Cascade in Hamden.
Said company principals Stephen Press and John M. Cuozzo Jr. in announcing the award: “It is truly an honor to have been chosen as the Business of the Year. We want to thank all of our associates for their years of dedication, professionalism and their contributions to the community.”

Press and Cuozzo founded Press/Cuozzo Realtors in 1990 and today employ 30 Realtor sales professionals. The firm has a commercial/industrial division as well as residential brokerage services, relocation and senior real estate services.

A 7,500-square-foot light industrial and warehouse/office building on 1.13 acres at 114 Cascade Boulevard, Milford, has been sold. The buyer, Plimett LLC, will retrofit the building for its own use. Plimett was represented by Carl G. Russell of H. Pearce Commercial’s Milford office, while the seller, Cascade Boulevard Associates, LLC was represented by Ken Ginsberg of Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio of Milford.

Philip Gagnon, partner in the Hartford office of Collier’s International, announced the leasing of two office suites at 936 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Pedia Flex, LLC will occupy 1,751 square feet, while Advanced Therapy Solutions has signed for 2,900 square feet. Gagnon procured the tenants and was the listing agent for both transactions. 4,800 square feet of space on the third floor remains available for lease.
