Praxair expands its Chinese air-gas market

The China division of Danbury industrial gas supplier Praxair Inc. has expanded its sales base in Zhangijang by selling to a government-owned computer chip company.

Praxair China will sell compressed dry air, ultra-high-purity oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium to Shanghai Hua Li Microelectronics Corp.

The contract solidifies Praxair’s hold in one of the top high-tech parks in China.

“Praxair has been participating actively in the dramatic growth of China’s integrated circuit industry, bringing value-added and energy-efficient solutions to our customers,” said Minda Ho, president of Praxair China, said in a statement.
