Clearwater Systems Corp. named former Pratt & Whitney Co. executive Anupam Bhargava as chief executive officer of the Essex water-treatment technology firm.
Meanwhile, founder and former CEO John E. Dresty steps aside to take the newly formed post of president and chief technology officer.
Bhargava  was general manager at the Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners unit of United Technologies Corp., where he successfully launched new service businesses from start-up to market leader with operations worldwide, Clearwater said
He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
