Pratt & Whitney Co. says Jetstar Pacific Airlines has hired it to exclusively provide engine overhaul services on the Vietnamese air carrier’s engines powering its fleet of Boeing 737 jetliners.
Terms of the two-year deal weren’t announced.
Pratt will maintain Jetstar’s five CFM56-3 engines – built by a partnership involving rival General Electric Co.
Pratt is a unit of United Technologies Corp. in Hartford.
