East Hartford jet engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney said Air New Zealand will purchase PurePower engines for 13 of its Airbus A320neo planes.
Under the agreement, Pratt will also provide fleet management support services for up to 16 years.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2017 and 2019, Pratt said.
Financial terms of the order were not disclosed.
