East Hartford aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney said it’s opened a new F100 engine overhaul facility in Columbus, Ga.
The company is moving most of its F100 engine overhaul work to the new facility from San Antonio, Texas. Pratt already has engine operations in Columbus, and said the newly built 105,000-square-foot building will help it centralize much of its commercial and military engine aftermarket, repair and overhaul work.
