United Technologies Corp.’s Pratt & Whitney unit signed two 10-year agreements worth more than $1 billion with Delta Air Lines Inc. for aircraft engine services, East Hartford-based Pratt said today.
The first deal with the engine maker will cover material replacement and repair of parts for Delta’s fleet of more than 80 PW400 engines. The second contract will also cover similar parts repair and material replacement for certain Delta TechOps’ customers.
At 11 a.m., UTC shares traded at $52.54, down 16 cents, or 0.3 percent. (AP)
