Anne Marie Potter has joined the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce as event coordinator. She will be based in Simsbury.
She brings experience in event management, public relations, and communications to her position as event coordinator. Prior to joining the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, Potter worked as Mintz & Hoke Communications in Avon. Her previous experience includes her work at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford where she contributed articles to local media including the Hartford Courant and the Simsbury News. She was responsible for coordinating the fundraising and installation of the Simsbury Bike Sculpture.
The Simsbury Chamber of Commerce was recently named the 12th largest chamber in the Greater Hartford region and has over 400 members.
