Post U. offers weekend MBA

Post University in Waterbury will offer a weekend master’s in business administration program, hoping to build on the momentum from its four-year-old online MBA program.

As part of the eight-week course, students will meet for six hours on alternate Saturdays. The concept provides the needed instruction for the MBA while giving students, particularly older adults, flexibility around busy workweek schedules that include career, family and other commitments.

Post University launched its online MBA program in 2007, based on the same concept of flexibility. It was the first completely online MBA program in Connecticut.

“Through this new program, we can offer students who prefer a face-to-face learning environment the collegial interaction and networking opportunities they want and still provide the flexibility they need,” said Don Mroz, dean of the Post University School of Business, in a press release.
