Mike’s Carpet of Virginia, with a location in East Hartford, and Potomac Floor Covering Inc., which both merged in January, will now be called Mike’s Flooring Companies.
Based in Chantilly, Va., Mike’s Flooring will be the umbrella for all the companies servicing the commercial, property Management, Residential, and Maintenance flooring markets. This includes all seven of their east coast locations.
Potomac Floor Covering was established in 1986 and became one of the top commercial flooring dealers in the Washington DC region. In 2005, Potomac was listed as the 16th largest in the country in sales volume according to Floor Covering Weekly.
Mike’s Flooring also has locations in Vienna and Chantilly, Va.; Atlanta; Pawtucket, R.I.; and Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
