Positive outlook for state credit

Connecticut’s lending market is faring well in the eyes of business executives.Respondents to a CBIA/TD Banknorth Credit Availability Index and Survey said state credit conditions are not currently problematic although concerns remain for the future. Twenty-two percent of respondents expect credit conditions in the state to improve over the next three months.Peter Gioia, CBIA vice president and economist, cited growth in state exports as reason for the positive economic outlook.
