Popular Mexican restaurant Agave Grill and Cantina will remain in downtown Hartford for at least the next five years after signing a new lease at its current location, 100 Allyn St., according to the deal’s broker.
Agave signed a new five-year lease for 3,650 square feet of ground floor space in the mixed-use office building, where Hartford Business Journal is also a tenant, according to the deal’s broker Reese Commercial.
Reese said this is the third renewal the firm has completed in the last 12 years for Agave. Agave used to be part of the Wood-n-Tap restaurant group before owner Ken McAvory and another founding partner Wil Quijano left.
The building’s owner, Northland, put 100 Allyn St. up for sale earlier this year.
