A Plainville-based security systems installer has acquired a former United Bank branch in Southington for $1 million and plans to relocate its business there.
Trusted Properties, led by Jerry Brocki, who is managing member of a Security 101 franchise in Plainville, acquired 158 North Main St. late last year from People’s United Bank.
The 5,284-square-foot building, which sits on an acre of land, was previously a United Bank branch. People’s United closed the branch, along with 17 others, after acquiring United in 2019.
Thomas Wilks and Andrew Hale of O,R&L Commercial represented People’s United in the transactions. Robert Montesi of Goman+York represented Trusted Properties.
