Plainville apartment complex sells for $2M

A 42-unit apartment complex on West Main Street in downtown Plainville has sold for $2 million.

The buyer was 94 W. Main Apartments LLC.

The seller was the G. Gary and Susan Cameron, the original developer-builders of the property, authorities said. Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services was the sole broker in the deal.

The three-story frame structure, built in 1989, consists of 39 one-bedroom units and three efficiency units. Each one-bedroom unit contains a living area of between 500 to 600 square feet and the efficiencies contain about 400 square feet.

Deep River sale

C&P Holdings LLC paid $650,000 for a 35,000-square-foot building and acreage in Deep River.

PCI Medical Inc. will occupy the building which is on 3.25 acres at 37 Main St., also known as 6 Winter Ave.

The sellers were Robert and Eleanor Champion.

PCI specializes in vapor control systems used in the healthcare industry to protect healthcare workers from exposure to toxic vapors created during the sterilization of invasive medical instruments.

The Geenty Group, Realtors was the broker.

 

Old Saybrook sale

Retail tenant Dunkin Donuts has paid $650,000 for the building it occupies at 1635 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook, officials say.

The donut shop’s senior vice president, Bill Clark, exercised a purchase option as part of the store’s 10-year lease of the property.

Dunkin Donuts moved into its 2,500-square-foot space, previously a bar and grill, in 2003.

The Geenty Group, Realtors was the sole broker in the transaction.

 

Two Hartford leases

Two tenants signed on for a combined 40,000 square feet of industrial and warehouse space at two locations on Murphy Road, in Hartford’s South Meadows.

SRS Acquisition Corp. has leased 31,482 square feet of warehouse space at 90 Murphy Road.

Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Colliers International represented landlord South Meadows No. 6 LLC.

At 110 Murphy Road, Encore Holding LLC has leased 9,250 square feet of industrial space

Capstone Properties represented the tenant in lease negotiations.

Colliers International represented landlord South Meadows No. 7 LLC.

 

Konecranes’ Berlin move

Finnish crane and lift-equipment maker and marketer Konecranes Inc. signed a long-term lease at 99 Clark Drive in the east section of Berlin.

Konecranes recently completed its move from former facilities at 136 Rockwell Road in Newington.

Colliers International represented Konecranes in the lease transaction.

Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Berlin Commerce Park Associates.

 

Package delivery space

New York package delivery service Columbus Management Systems Inc. leased 800 square feet in multi-tenant industrial facility at 215 Research Drive in Milford.

Columbus is opening a new office.

D’Amato Investments LLC is landlord.

The Geenty Group, Realtors was the sole agent for the lease.

 

E. Granby space renewed

Airport Business Center III LLC recently renewed three leases at its Airport Business Center industrial park at 29 Kripes Road, East Granby. 

Energy Beam Sciences renewed 6,120 square feet of office and industrial space. EBS products support the electron beam technology industry.

Associated Products, a distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, has renewed its lease of 2,200 square feet.

Healing Edge Medical Associates has renewed its lease of 1,880 square feet.

Sentry Commercial was the sole broker in all three lease transactions.
