Pizza truck, Japanese toy maker lease Foxon Road spaces

Two businesses have signed on to lease space in a North Branford small warehouse property.

Owned by Cooper Partners LLC, the building at 2344 Foxon Road contains 30 rental units, each at 1,000 square feet.

Luigi Bernardo and East Haven-based Little Italy Pizza Truck LLC, will lease two units, totaling 2,000 square feet, for his mobile pizza trucks, which can be rented for gatherings offering New Haven-style pies cooked on-site in a wood-fired oven.

Kevin Geenty of The Geenty Group Realtors represented Bernardo in this transaction.

Michael Reeves will lease a 1,000-square-foot unit for his Kendama Japanese skill toy warehouse and for occasional workshops, lessons, and demonstrations.

Kendama are traditional Japanese toys consisting of a wooden pedestal handle with a wooden ball attached to a string.

Kristin Geenty was the agent for Reeves in this transaction.

Cheryl Morris of The Geenty Group was the agent for the landlord for both leases.

All 30 units in the Foxon Road building are leased, with a variety of tenants, ranging from artists to doggie daycares to a fitness center, said Kevin Geenty.

These small industrial units “are highly sought after due to their size and utility,” Geenty said.

They lease for $1,000 a month plus utilities, with most tenants signing a 1-year lease with options to renew.
