Hersha Hospitality Trust has sold its Hampton Inn in West Haven as part of a 16-property, $217 million transaction with Blackstone Real Estate Advisors.
The hotel is the Philadelphia trust’s remaining consolidated property in Connecticut. It owns pieces of four other Connecticut hotels with Hilton and Marriot flags — including the Marriott Downtown Hartford and Hilton Hotel Hartford — through a joint venture called Mystic Partners LLC, according to its financial filings.
Hersha used to have a larger presence in Connecticut. Since 2008, it has sold eight hotels here, including three Residence Inns.
