Bruce Westcott, longtime sales and marketing chief at Springfield’s Peter Pan Bus Lines, has been named to an elevated position as vice president of business development and an officer for the carrier.
Westcott was vice president of business development for Peter Pan Enterprises, which includes several of the carrier’s corporate affiliates such as a recreational firearms distributor and a conveyor-belt manufacturer.
He previously had the title of senior director of sales and marketing with Peter Pan Bus Lines, duties which he will continue to oversee.
Peter Pan President Peter Picknelly said his lieutenant is now responsible for corporate sales performance, marketing leadership across company lines, including the charter and customer service operations.
Westcott also will oversee, Picknelly said, and guide website and social media development and continue to interact with Greyhound Lines to increase overall business for the Northeast corridor.
Westcott is a native of western Massachusetts and resides with his family in East Longmeadow.
