A new store in Ansonia marks the third location for a growing pet business, A to Z Pet Shop.
A to Z Pet Shop LLC recently leased 3,200 square feet of retail space at 74 Pershing Drive for five years.
The business, founded in 2017, sells both pets and pet supplies. Fred A. Messore, senior vice president with Colonial Properties in Orange, represented the tenant in the transaction. Steven M. Dudziec and Attorney Nicholas Capuano represented the Landlord, UB Derby I LLC.
This is the third location in Connecticut for A to Z Pet Shop, which recently leased space in Trumbull for five years. The family-owned business also has a store on the Boston Post Road in Orange.

In another recent commercial deal, DOCS Urgent Care leased a 3,000-square-foot retail/medical space at 968 Chapel Street in New Haven for six months for a COVID-19 testing facility. The space had previously housed an Ann Taylor store, which closed last summer. Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker with Colonial Properties, represented the landlord, General Asset Recovery.

Tony Vitti, a realtor with Colonial Properties, represented landlord 31 Cherry Street LLC, in the leasing of 200 square feet of office space at 31 Cherry Street, Unit 105, in Milford. The tenant, a sole proprietor, was represented by Michael Ulrich of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
Financial terms of the leases were not disclosed.
