Defending 2009 Travelers Championship champion Kenny Perry and an early cast of entrants, including Stewart Cink and Hunter Mahan, will be on hand for the annual June PGA Tour event in Cromwell, Travelers said Tuesday.
Perry, who will make his 22nd appearance at TPC River Highlands, will also be joined by potential PGA rookie candidate Rickie Fowler, and veterans Anthony Kim and Stuart Appleby, Tournament Director Nathan Grube announced.
“It means we clearly have a lot to look forward to in June,” Dube said. “The players are talking about our event, our facility and our fans. We expect some additional great names in the next few weeks and look forward to welcoming them all to Connecticut.”
The event will be held June 21-27.
